Posted: 4/21/2018
The Schroon Lake Association’s 49th Annual Arts and Crafts Fair is Saturday July 21, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Leland St Schroon Lake, NY overlooking beautiful Schroon Lake Beach. This well established fair features vendors from all venue's of the arts such as photography, ceramics, pottery, wood carving, hand made toys, clothing, jewelry, painting, guitars, boats, and so much more. The Lion’s Club Snack Shack will be on hand to serve food and drinks to hungry fair goers, as well as restaurateur's offering Kettle Korn, fresh made lemonade, and shaved ices.
Warren County Soil and Water Conservation will display the way our water shed works funneling rain water and snow melt into the lake and how it effects the lake.
The Schroon Lake Association, sponsor of the event and protecting our lake since 1911, will discuss, display, and hand out materials discussing one of the most important lake topics in the country, invasive species. The Association is also raffling off a Hornbeck canoe proceeds of which will help fund our conservation efforts. Tickets are $20 each and only 300 tickets are being sold.
Traditionally, over 100 crafters from all over the northeast display and sell their wares. This is one of the oldest and finest Arts and Crafts Fairs in upstate New York and not to be missed.
