SLA ANNUAL MEETING AND STATE OF THE TOWN AND LAKE FRIDAY AUGUST 17

The Schroon Lake Association is proud to present its annual State of the Town and Its Watershed meeting on Friday August 17 starting at 7:30 PM at the Schroon Lake Central School Auditorium on Rt. 9. This meeting also serves as the SLA's Annual Meeting and election of Officers and Directors.THE SLA ANNUAL MEETING WILL START AT 7 PM. ALL MEMBERS SHOULD ATTEND.
At 7:30 pm the meeting continues with a presentation on the State of the Town of Schroon by Town Supervisor Michael Marnell. This will be followed by an all star panrel on the state of the watershed which will include:
Steve LaMere the SLA's Lake Manager on water condition and testing
Jim Liberam Director of Warren County Soil and Water on surace water run off projects
David Reckhan Director of Essex County Soil and Water on reducing septic wastes ad reducing surface runoff
Robert Bombard Warren County Soil and Water on Milfoil Removal and harvesting by AIM
Nick Rowell Warren County Soild and Wateer on invasives surveilance
Roger Friedman Schroon Town Counsellor and director of Lake Stewards as Moderator
Come see what the hard work of the SLA and its partners and out towns hads accomplish and how your donations to the SLA have been used to protect our watershed.
