SLA,ESSLA AND PLA PRESENT WHAT IS GOING INTO MY LAKE? SALT AND SILT! FRIDAY JULY 6, AT 7:00 PM, SCHROON LAKE CENTRAL SCHOOL AUDITORIUM
Can or waters be forever changed by silt and salt flowing into them? Climate change, icy winters and unusually heavy rain can change our lakes forever.Balancing public safety and environmental damage is a tough call. In the mean time sand from North Hudson is ending up filling our lake bottom and chocking fish habitat.A panrel of experts will discuss these issues.Join the Schroon Lake Association, ESSLA and the Paradox Lake Association in a joint educational and entertsainment night on Friday July 6 All are welcome. Admission is free.
