WINNER OF THE HORNBECK BOAT RAFFLE ANNOUNCED

Folks: We are pleased to announce that Geri Heinzelman of Schroon Lake is the winner of the SLA’s Hornbeck Raffle. The winning ticket was drawn at the 22d Adirondack Marathon on Sucfay Afternoon September 23.

 This fundraising project, made possible by the generosity of Pete Hornbeck, was steered and directed by Board Member Merritt Hulst with the wonderful assistance of top salesman Ralph Ocker. Many thanks to all who sold or bought tickets. The sale ran almost 9 months.

 

The project helped raise over $6800 for the SLA. This will be put to good use to support our lake stewards, boat decon stewards and our water quality monitoring program. It also gave the opportunity for Merritt and his folks to educate folks on the Lake, its issues and what folks can  do to preserve it.
